They can certainly build something interresting on the lore they are creating. Looking forward to future Tekken games since I hope they can improve the quality.

Yeah - I would love to say that the story is decent but.it's not good - but hey it's the first attempt to tell elaborate story in Tekken series :) I like it more than a few seconds of cutscenes. Imho it is even better than classical arcade since you can play it longer with one character. There is no story but you are ranking up as you win and opponents get harder. The "main" mode - or at least the best mode to train characters is treasure hunt mode. It is like Injustice/Mortal combat - you have story animations and in between them fight with determined characters. It is not like in Tekken 3 where you play arcade over and over and get different animation at the end. Watch out - you don't choose characters in story mode.
